For CAF setting below the recommendation of usage:
1. For close up object (10cm~1m) enable the CAF. (Macro Focus Mode)
2. For normal video capture (>30cm) disable the CAF. (DOF Focus Mode)

Just download the attachment and sign it with your cert then install. No hacked phone needed!!

je viens de découvrir une mine d'or niveau mods pour les symbian^3
les liens:
-le site de la publication
-le fichier d'installation des mods (lien de téléchargement multiple [megaupload rapidshare...])

les mods se présentent sous la forme d'un petite application / installeur que l'on lance et qui installe les différents mods selon ce que l'on sélectionne.
Installé et complètement fonctionnel sur un N8, je ne les ais pas tous installés étant donné que certains sont toujours en développement regardez et faite attention a ce que vous installez^^.

les mods sont compatibles avec les PR 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2

petites précisions:
-certains mods sont uniquement à destination du n8 d'autre pour le c7 etc...
-Installer des mods est entièrement sous votre responsabilité ils peuvent causer des problèmes (plus ou moins graves) si ils ne sont pas installé correctement....

Signer des Applications non Signées

-il vous sera nécéssaire de signer l'appli pour pouvoir installer les mods pour cela il faut suivre ce tuto
Une fois cela fait il ne vous reste plus qu'à installer votre fichier sur le téléphone comme n'importe quel .sis
Par contre le site opda le site utilisé pour le tuto a quelques difficulté a fonctionner correctement il est régulièrement hors ligne et a de nombreux ralentissements si cela ne marche pas essayez un autre jour (le site est parfois indisponible pendant plus d'une semaine)
petit conseil: gardez précieusement les différents fichiers obtenus étant donné qu'une fois générés ils sont valable indéfiniment (je crois^^) ils vous permettront d'installer toutes le applis non signé.

je peux éventuellement faire des captures d'écran si vous en avez besoin.

edit: j'ajoute la liste des mods pour les non anglophones, faite avec mes connaissances (très limités) en anglais et mon expérience:

pour la version 7 seulement !!
les mods suivis d'une * son les mods que j'ai installé sur mon portable et qui marche sans causer de bug

01* ou 02 amélioration du défilement cinétique le 1 accélère et rallonge le défilement tandis que le 2 l'accélère et le fais aller jusqu'à la fin de liste à cette vitesse. (choisir un des 2 perso je conseil le 1);

04* coupure du son de l'appareil photo en mode silencieux;

05* ajout d'un mode autofocus continu pendant la prise de video sur N8;
06 amélioration du zoom et du nombre de fps sur le mode nuit (video) sur C7 et E7;

07 à 11 pour N8 * change la qualité de compression photo, le nombre de fps en video et la qualité de l'enregistrement audio :
12 à 16 pour E7 et C7 même effets;
-07 et 12 Pic/Vid (100/30FPS)

18* mème effet avec le dossier musique, Ne prends que le contenu de : E:\Music\, E:\Sounds\, F:\Music\, F:\Sounds\, G:\Music\, G:\Sounds\ ;

19 et 20 change l'emplacement du cache du navigateur web: j'aurais besoin de retour la-dessus mais pour moi après l’installation lorsque j'ai lancé le navigateur, au bout de 2 pages, il m'a affiché que le cache était plein ( bug?)... (emplacement pour 19 D:\ , 20 E:\ );

21 à 23 change le répertoire dans lequel le téléphone va chercher l'animation au démarrage: permet de viré l'animation toute moche de son opérateur^^ (emplacement pour: 21 C:\Animations , 22* E:\Animations, 23 F:\Animations );

24 change le volume au démarrage et le passe de 40% à 90% (peut ètre utile pour certaines personnes mais je ne trouve pas ça vraiment bien...)

25* augmentation de la qualité d'enregistrement du dictaphone de 64Kbps à 256kbps et allonge le temps de prise de son de 60 min à 720 ^^ ;

28 désactive le capteur de luminosité et mets la luminosité à fond en permanence (sauf en mode éco ou le capteur se réactive);

29 / 30 amélioration du vibreur je ne sais pas éxactement ce que ça fait et je n'est pas vus d'amélioration...

31=>36 les applis appareil photo, messagerie,logs(?),agenda,horloge,contact se ferment complètement (libération de la ram [dans une faible mesure]);

37 amélioration de la vitesse de rotation de l'écran mais vraiment pas terrible le capteur devient très sensible et l'écran ce retourne trop souvent intempestivement à mon gout;

38* pour N8 le transmetteur fm envoie Nokia N8 à la place de Nokia à la radio;
39 pour E7 le transmetteur fm envoie Nokia E7 à la place de Nokia à la radio;
40 pour C7 le transmetteur fm envoie Nokia C7 à la place de Nokia à la radio;

46/47/48 ces mods ont quelques chose à voir avec l'orientation de l'écran mais je ne sais pas éxactement quoi si quelqu'un pouvait me faire un retour;

49* notification (suite au débranchement du chargeur du téléphone pour inciter les gens à débrancher le chargeur de la prise) désactivée;

50* notification de désactivation (ou non) du mode éco désactivée;

51* activation du zoom digital (pas encore testé)

52 change le volume des applications en le mettant par défaut à 100%

53 amélioration du module de reconnaissance vocale (commandes vocales)

petite précision pour l'installation la désinstallation et la modification des mods:

-pour l'installation il suffit d'ouvrir le fichier .sis sur son tel et de sélectionner les mods à installer puis redémarrer
-pour la désinstallation il suffit de désinstaller l'application dans le gestionnaire d'application du portable et redémarrer
-et pour la modification il faut obligatoirement désinstaller l'application et redémarrer avant de la réinstaller et de faire les modifs souhaitées.

Personnelement j'ai testé quelques points
*les plus important:
-Amélioration scroll cinétique (1)... Ok et c'est même mieux
-Non compression de la photo lors de la prise photo... Ok
-Affichage batterie modifié... Ok
-Passage du mode paysage <=> mode portrait plus rapide (+ sensible)
*les autres : pas remarqué grand chose...

PS : L'installation de ce mods engage votre responsabilité... Je ne serai responsable des dommages causés ou autres... A vos riques et péril...

Alors pour le réglage de l'APN :
-pour la photo : le mieux est 100 c'est à dire qu'il y a aucune compression de l'image, donc l'image est plus nette et est plus grande en taille. Plus tu descends vers 0, plus la photo est compressé.
-pour la vidéo : 30 FPS = 30 Frames Per Second = 30 Images Par Seconde , donc quand t'as plus d'images/sec, plus c'est réaliste... Et la taille de la vidéo augmentera aussi.

=> Donc (100/30FPS) est le meilleur paramètre.
